How the Robinson Tuition client portal handles your information. Last updated August 2026.
Who we are
This portal is run by Robinson Tuition Ltd, company no. 15418712, registered in England and Wales (registered office: 30 Dobbins Lane, Wendover, Aylesbury, HP22 6DH). We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration ZB786879. For anything about your data, contact us at joe@robinsontuition.com.
What we store
Only what tutoring needs: your name and email address; your child's first name, year group and subject; lesson bookings and their history; your lesson-credit balance and its transaction record; a record of any payments you make (the amount, date, status and our payment provider's reference); and records of when you signed in and agreed to our policies. We never see or store your card details - card payments are entered on our payment provider's own secure page, not ours. We do not store medical information or anything else beyond what is listed here.
Why we store it
To provide the tutoring you've engaged us for: scheduling lessons, tracking the lessons you've paid for, sending booking confirmations, reminders and calendar invites, and keeping accurate financial records. We never sell data or use it for marketing.
Where it lives
Data is stored in a database hosted in London (Supabase). Emails are sent via Resend from our own domain. Confirmed lessons are added to a Robinson Tuition Google Calendar, which shares the lesson time, your email address and your child's first name with Google Calendar so invites work. Card payments are processed by Stripe, who receive your name and email address in order to take the payment and send you a receipt; your card details go directly to Stripe and never pass through our systems.
How long we keep it
For as long as you're an active client. Afterwards, booking and credit records are retained as operational and financial records in line with our Data Retention & Disposal Policy, and personal details can be deactivated or anonymised on request.
Cookies
The portal sets only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you and your child, to correct it, or to delete or anonymise it - email us and we'll act promptly. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
